Meet our Principal

Dr. Hall has dedicated the past 11 years of her career to serving the D9 community as both a classroom teacher and school administrator. In 2018, she became Assistant Principal of Angel Oak Elementary School, where she worked collaboratively with Principal Judith Condon to build a school community grounded in academic excellence, student-centered and data-informed instruction, and a positive school climate.

This year, Dr. Hall served as Assistant Principal of the newly opened Johns Island Elementary School. Her strong instructional leadership contributed to exceptional student outcomes, including significant increases in student growth and achievement. She also led the development of enrichment and after-school opportunities to support the growth of the whole child and helped to initiate the school’s first-year implementation of South Carolina’s STEAM continuum.

Dr. Hall is deeply committed to creating welcoming and supportive learning environments for all students. She holds a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina, with a focus on equity and diversity within the curriculum. Her doctoral research examined opportunity gaps within the D9 community, identified root causes, and developed actionable strategies to provide a more equitable educational experience for all students. As a result of this work, she helped implement instructional initiatives such as co-teaching classrooms for both students with disabilities and multilingual learners.
